How it works
A grand tournament played like a sport: your images travel the world, enter the arena in cities, and climb a living ranking.
Your photos enter the arena
You send your best images. Each one travels to a city on a world map and competes there in duels. The more they convince, the higher you climb the ranking. And to see your own results, you'll first have helped judge the others.
Two contests, four worlds
France and International, Wedding and Portrait. Each combination is a separate world, with its own circuit of cities, judges and ranking. Never mixed. (Studio is France-only for now.)
The duel: which one wins?
Two photos side by side. Three peers vote in secret — each must choose, no ties — and the majority wins. No elimination: every photo plays all its duels to the end.
The city ranking
Wins aren't counted bluntly: beating a strong photo is worth more than beating a weak one — that's the strength score, like in tennis. The most convincing photo wins the city. Everyone starts equal.
Everyone judges
Judging is mandatory and anonymous: you sign up, you become a judge. You never judge a duel with one of your own photos, and you must finish all your duels to unlock your results. Comparing hundreds of images sharpens your eye.
What you win
Your place in each city earns points that add up in your world's ranking. It moves after every session but is only final in December. Aim for: becoming the Champion of a city, climbing the Top 5 / 10 / 50 / 100 bands, and being crowned Photographer of the Year.
The calendar
Four sessions a year — four legs of a world circuit, like the Grand Slams. First contest: January 2027. Each session you play 5 photos per universe (in 5 different cities), you judge, and the ranking updates.
The golden rules
- Ø01You never judge your own photos. Ever.
- Ø02Everything is anonymous, both ways: judges and photographers never know each other.
- Ø03No advantage can be bought. No extra photos, no boost, no shortcut.
- Ø04Chance decides where the photos go. Nobody picks their opponents.
- Ø05Every result is traceable. Nothing is changed quietly.
- Ø06Judging is a shared duty: everyone contributes, so everyone earns their results.
